I left school at 15 to start my apprenticeship, and I've never looked back. I spent years working seven days a week, building my clientele from the ground up, and learning that great hairdressing is about more than the service. It's about how people feel.

At 22, I opened my own salon. Sakara Collective is a destination salon on Melbourne's bayside. It blends luxury colour with wellness, mindset and personal growth, for both our clients and our team.

My signature is effortless, lived in luxury: soft dimension and colour that works with your natural base, so the hair looks expensive.

What I've built

Over the years, I moved from doing everything myself to leading with systems, structure and a strong team culture. That shift changed everything. It made our salon calmer, more profitable and more sustainable, and it's the foundation of everything I now teach.

Through Hair by Tamsin Education, I offer in salon shadow days, private 1:1 education, online workshops and in person training for stylists and salon owners.

My way

My education goes beyond technique. I teach mindset, efficiency, pricing and how to build a career that lasts without burning out. I believe education should feel empowering, not overwhelming, and that you should leave with something you can put into practice the very next day.

I'm a mum, a leader and an educator. Above all, I'm someone who has learned to trust herself, and I'm here to help you do the same.
